Good packets received by the system are indicated by a period (.). Errors such as the framing error and the cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error are indicated with an &#8220;X&#8221; and an associated error description. The watch-net diagnostic is initialized by typing the watch-net command at the ok prompt and the watch-net-all diagnostic is initialized by typing the watch-net-all command at the ok prompt. The following code example identifies the watch-net diagnostic output message.
