As you can see there are a few available server you can choose. Popular one is proftp.<\/p>\n<p>To install the service do:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>apt-get install proftp<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This will start installing .. you know, displaying all those letters and words and stuff..<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>webserver:~# apt-get install proftpd<br \/>\nReading package lists&#8230; Done<br \/>\nBuilding dependency tree&#8230; Done<br \/>\nThe following extra packages will be installed:<br \/>\nlibmysqlclient15off libpq4 mysql-common perl perl-modules ucf<br \/>\nSuggested packages:<br \/>\nlibterm-readline-gnu-perl libterm-readline-perl-perl proftpd-doc<br \/>\nRecommended packages:<br \/>\nperl-doc debconf-utils<br \/>\nThe following NEW packages will be installed:<br \/>\nlibmysqlclient15off libpq4 mysql-common perl perl-modules proftpd ucf<br \/>\n0 upgraded, 7 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.<br \/>\nNeed to get 9623kB of archives.<br \/>\nAfter unpacking 39.1MB of additional disk space will be used.<br \/>\nDo you want to continue [Y\/n]?
